Our offices have been successfully handling disability claims and appeals for social security disability benefits for over 38 years, at all levels of the process,
in administrative hearings before the Social Security Administration throughout the State of Connecticut, at all levels of appeals,
and in the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut. Melissa Buckley is a
member of NOSSCR (National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives) and a
member of the Disability Law Committee of the Connecticut Bar Association.
There is no charge unless you are awarded benefits.
SSD? SSDI? SSI? Not sure for what Social Security Disability benefits you qualify? Not sure if you would qualify for Social Security disability benefits?
Applied and been denied Social Security Disability benefits? Not sure of the best way to proceed? The answers are only a call away.
STILL WORRIED YOU CANNOT AFFORD A LAWYER? Lawyers fees are tightly regulated by the Social Security Administration. Again, no lawyer is permitted to charge or collect a fee without
Social Security's approval of the fee. There is no approval and no fee unless you win the case and you collect benefits. The fee is paid from the back awarded benefits.
The amount of the fee is 25% of the back awarded benefits and there is a maximum amount. Social Security always has to approve any fee before one is owing to the lawyer.
We handle most Social Security disability benefit cases including SSD, SSDI, and SSI cases, involving all medical conditions and psychiatric and mental health conditions in Connecticut. The Offices are located conveniently a short distance from the local Social Security District office in New Haven. The office is handicap accessible.
